Sealed System Repairs
A sealed system repair is any repair pertaining to what is known as the refrigeration cycle. A refrigerant gas, usually Freon, is forced through a series a tubes and coils by a compressor. The gas is cycled through an internal evaporator coil and an external condenser coil. With the help of a metering device to restrict gas flow, the gas is forced into a high pressure condenser coil.
As the gas moves through the metering device, into the evaporator coil, there is a pressure drop creating cold temperatures. Sealed system repairs should only be done by the most experienced technicians. If these repairs are not completed properly, additional complications can arise months and even years down the road.
